Deep in the sun-searched growths the dragonfly
Hangs like a blue thread loosened from the sky.

Thank you everyone for your kinds words and healing thoughts for Ms. M! She appreciates each and every one of them!
Mr. Tide worked more of his photographic magic, and captured the dragonfly above which is the most gorgeous shade of green! I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
Beautiful, Mr Tide!!

These photos are amazing. I adore dragonflies and we have loads near us as we live next to a forest and there is a pond nearby.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your friends ill health - I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

ReplyDeletePlease send your husband to my house and maybe I can finally capture a dragonfly on camera :) I see them flying around but they never land! The blue one is still my favorite even though that green one is definitely gorgeous also.
ReplyDeleteHope Ms. M is continuing to recover and is back arranging all her flowers soon!
I so love a great macro shot, those are incredible Mr. Tide! It's so enjoyable to look at them. Hope Ms. M is steadily improving with each passing day. ~Lili
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos! We watch the dragonflies zooming all over our backyard and joining meadow every evening during our 'happy hour' on the deck, and are astounded at the number of them. They are truly amazing and such a blessing!

Hi again, thanks for stopping by my butterfly post! I was surprised at the fact that the phlox flowers attracted so many butterflies and the flowers have a wonderful scent! I planted them in the front garden only because they tolerate shade - and there's a huge old maple tree shading most of the area. The phlox have also either reseeded or sent out new shoots via their roots system, but whichever, they have spread like wildfire and look wonderful right now. Ciao, bella!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible image. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful shade of green too! Isn't it amazing how their thin legs wind around their perch?
