Shop Til You Drop Part 3 and Another Great Giveaway!

Spring is definitely in the air here in southern Maryland, and that means it's time for a fun look at some springtime decor at yet another wonderful local store.  Today we are visiting Lola Belle Co. located in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Lola Belle Co. is one of the new kids on the block so to speak, but don't let their youthfulness fool you.  The owners both have lots of retail experience, and it shows in the wonderful furnishings and decor they have to offer and how beautifully they have it displayed.

I was blown away the other day when I walked in and was greeted by this gorgeous table display with real live weeping cherry blossoms flowing from a beautiful urn.

Everything about it said "Welcome Spring" to me, and the lovely soft blue dishware was the perfect compliment to those pretty pink blossoms!

And does anything say Welcome Spring better than bunnies and pinwheels?

I love these darling Lily Pulitzer pinwheels and can see them tucked inside a child's Easter basket, or just for fun to bring out the child in all of us!

How about a baby chick?!  These sweet little chicks will never require feeding, and they'll always stay tiny and adorable!

Looking to add a little greenery to the inside of your home but you suffer from a brown thumb?  Why not bring the outdoors in by adding some faux boxwood topiaries to your decor.

If you yearn to be decked out from head to toe in springtime finery, then this is the perfect outfit for you!  I love the bright green background with punches of hot pink flowers!

And if birds of a feather truly do flock together then you won't want to miss this chubby little bird figurine which pairs perfectly with this handsome lamp, it has beautiful birds adorning its base!

I love the bright green lamp in this display.  And those beautiful embroidered hand towels would be perfect for welcoming guests to your powder room.

These amazing pea accessories are just too cute for words... I love them!

These pretty bird coasters are so elegant.  I want several sets, one for my living room and another for the family room.  And see those wonderful fragrance and bath products by Greenleaf?  The store carries a number of their signature fragrances.  This one is called Sycamore Fig, and it smells wonderful!

With all of the wonderful springtime decor they have to offer, you'll want to hurry in to Lola Belle Co. and grab a few pretties for yourself!  And please don't forget to tell them that Kat from Low Tide High Style said hello!

And like so many of the other wonderful stores that I've taken you to recently , the girls at Lola Belle Co. offered me a wonderful giveaway item to share with one lucky winner!  Knowing what a beachy gal I am, and how my readers are equally beach lovin' folks, they've offered me this beautiful napkin holder, complete with nautical blue and white paper napkins with a coral motif, and a gorgeous silver shell to keep them from blowing away on those windy days picnicking at the beach!  Thank you Lola Belle Co.!

So here is the deal.

1.  In order to enter to win, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me the last place where you went on a picnic.

2.  If you tweet, blog about, or use Facebook to tell others about the giveaway, be sure to come back and let me know for a second chance to win!
3.  And of course you can always become a Follower, but do it because you want to, not because I told you to! :-)

The Drawing will be open until Midnight PST on Thursday, March 26th.  Good Luck!

  3. What a gorgeous shop. Thank you for hosting the giveaway! I think the last actual picnic I went on was beside the Truckee River, near Lake Tahoe, California. The chipmunks were a bit of a pestilence but very cute!!

  4. What a lovely shop - of course I love the coaster with the nest on it! The sofa in the first picture is nothing like anything I would ever normally go for but I just love it - perhaps with 2 kids I should have had mine covered in that colour and not the pale cream we had!
Our last picnic was one we do a lot - my neighbour and I take a team of kids each - one of us leaves clues for the other team to follow and we all meet up at a river about an hour into the woods by my house and have some goodies at the picnic benches there and the kids then always jump fully clothed into the river - they absolutely love it (not sure about their parents though!)

  5. Lola Bell Co. is an absolutely wonderful shop, I bet I could wander inside there for hours...sigh, Oh well, the last picnic I went on was at Sunset Beach on the Oregon coast three weeks ago. Not a great day but the company was great. My 2 year old grandson was spending his first week at the beach and dressed in his yellow boots he chased the sea gulls away from our food. Got some great pics of him and the rest of my family.

  8. Ugh! I wish you could edit comments!

You're going to make me think, eh? Methinks it was at the Burfordville covered bridge near Cape Girardeau, MO. It had just poured rain and everything was all drippy. But it smelled sooo good and fresh.

  11. This is a gorgeous post. I wish I lived close enough to shop at Lola Belle (which is also my granddog's name!). My last picnic was in October on the sandy shore of Mobile Bay.

  12. I would love to go shopping there for hours on end. So many lovely things to see.

The last picnic was at the beach house last May

  13. Wow--lots to look at in that store. Everything so springy--looks wonderful.
The last picnic was with all the family at Amicalola State Park in GA. It was also the last time I had all my chidren together at the same time, so it was a special day. Glad I remembered to take a picture of all of them together.

  14. That store does indeed look fabulous. I just know I would be in big trouble in there. The little pea dishes really got me. Love the wonderful napkin holder. What a beauty that is. The last picnic I went on was a Church picnic. Everyone brought a dish and it was the best time. We had it in a nearby park with a small lake and all the children made small sailboats and set them off in the water. Such fun and great company. Thanks for the giveaway. Hugs, Marty

  15. My last picnic was on our new (Old) boat. We drove it out into Georgian Bay, shut off the engine and prayed it would start again. Nothing but wind, sunshine and waves. Food never tasted so good.

  16. How pretty! How sweet of them! Sure wish I could travel that way and visit that store!! My last picnic was on the beach in Florida. Some very nice guys from our Campus Crusade for Christ summer project gave a few of us a picnic on the beach on our last day there. They had gotten all of the snacks, drinks, and blankets on the beach ready, then left someone to guard it while picking the rest of us up. The wind was so fierce that day that there was sand in the kool-aid, grit in the sandwiches, and we laughed the whole time. Tears of goodbyes cleaned out our eyes, and we left as forever friends! So many years ago, but so many memories! Thanks! I almost forgot about that!!!

Ohhh...I do wish that I lived closer! Lola Belle is my kind of shop!!! I seen so many things that I liked! I have been using that pretty Spring green in my dining room decor and the pretty plate and bowls with the peas would be perfect! Ohhh...and I love, love, LOVE that pretty napkin holder and the little silver shell...sooo very pretty! Thank you so much for doing this fabulous giveaway for us! I would love a chance to win that pretty! Hmmm...the last picnic that honey and I had was last August up in the Rocky Mtns. of Colorado...it was fabulous!!! I sure could have used those beautiful napkins and napkin holder at that time! Hehe!

  22. I think it would be DELIGHTFUL to live near and visit this store. I saw so too many treasures to mention. OK...maybe the pea pod stuff deserves a special shout out...

And now for the picnic. I wouldn't have realized it if you hadn't asked, but it has been a while since we officially picnicked. I guess it was 4th of July of last year at my mother's house. Actually, that was more a cookout than a true adventurous picnic. Hmmm. THAT should be rectified. And soon.

  25. These are such beautiful items! Wish I had some!

My last picnic took place on my living room floor. I had 8 girls from 5 different countries (2 of them living with me). We spread several sheets on the carpet and had veggies and dip, pizza, nachos and a really good time.

  26. Thanks so much for sharing your shopping adventure with us. It has been a very long time since I was on a picnic. The last one I remember is when we went to the North Ga. mountains and went to a roadside park and set up at picnic table and cooked out some hot dogs. yum yum

Since I'm having trouble remembering my last picnic ... I think it's time to plan one! The weather's finally beginning to cooperate!

  32. what a beautiful, beautiful posting - and your blog is so very lovely as well. I am new to your little place here - this is my first visit. I love the fact that you love the coastal decor. We have a condo on the beach in Florida - even though I dont live there - I love to be there more than anyplace in the world! Your thoughts and creativity inspire me!

My last place for a real picnic - in the mountains in Ushuaia Argentina. Wine, and cheese, and a drop dead view - a result of our travels there last year. Thanks for giving me cause to remember that wonderful time.

I most certainly will visit you again--

  33. Lovely shop! Too bad that I live on the opposite side of the country!! Fortunately, you have provided me with a lovely shopping experience from the comfort of my home office in Idaho! Regarding picnics, we don't go on them often enough! The last time we had a picnic was at the Oregon Coast. Bandon by the Sea to be exact. The beach at Bandon is my idea of heaven. Whoops, I should not have said that, now everyone will know about that slice of heaven.

    Have a great weekend!!

    Love,

  39. Our granddaughters (6 and 8) live with us. Picnics are one of their favorite things to do, so they get one almost every weekend - not on the beach unfortunately. We do love the beach, and I'm addicted to shelling, so the napkin holder is perfect!!

  42. Sweet greetings from Frog Hollow Farm! A few weeks ago we went snowshoeing with friends in our woods. Before our friends arrived, my husband went out into the woods and left a picnic basket and table full of warmed mulled wine, cheese, crackers and olives. When we all got to the end of the path it was waiting for us - our friends were delightfully surprised. It was truly a wonderful experience picnicing in the woods in the middle of winter - the snow and trees were just magnificent.

  44. Greetings from South Carolina. Last picnic I went on was at one of the gorgeous falls that we have in the South Carolina mountains. My boyfriend and I sat on the high rocks above the falls and watched the experiences kayak trip tours dip through the falls while we ate a bucket of fried chicken and potato salad. What more could you want in the South? =)
