Home for the Holidays

I think I'm finally done.

Done decorating...

Done shopping...

And just able to sit back and enjoy the season. Enjoy the blessing of having a place to call my own, a place to welcome friends and family and share in the spirit of the season.  This is home, where I can hang my hat and my Christmas ornaments!

  1. Your tree looks gorgeous Kat and I so love your beautiful kitchen. I'm nowhere near done but I am getting there! After Friday I'm off til the new year so am really looking forward to relaxing, reading, watching DVD's with the kids and just kicking back for a bit.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

  5. Hi Kat:

Your tree is beautifully decorated. Your kitchen is also wonderful, is that a Benjamin Moore shade? It's beautiful!

    Enjoy your holiday!

  6. Your Christmas tree is enchanting. We use only white lights too but ours doesn't look nearly as pretty as yours.
(Dear Santa...please bring me a sink like Kat's, thank you.)

  14. Kat,
First of all love those little eyes peeking from your header, made me laugh!

Your tree has me longing for red now! I went with a neutral scheme this year, but there is something about red that just says Christmas!

It's so nice to see a tree from the kitchen as it makes the holiday cooking and baking a little easier I think.

  17. Your tree is beautiful and even more impressive are your empty and clean kitchen counter tops (I've not reached that point yet). My floor "crackles" when I walk on it from peanut brittle pieces that dropped on the floor while I was pulling it into thin pieces (and I have burned fingers to show for my efforts). Have a lovely Christmas with your family and a New Year filled with peace, joy, and blessings. Mickie ;)
