Home for the Holidays

I think I'm finally done.

Done decorating...

Done shopping...

And just able to sit back and enjoy the season. Enjoy the blessing of having a place to call my own, a place to welcome friends and family and share in the spirit of the season.  This is home, where I can hang my hat and my Christmas ornaments!

  1. Your tree looks gorgeous Kat and I so love your beautiful kitchen. I'm nowhere near done but I am getting there! After Friday I'm off til the new year so am really looking forward to relaxing, reading, watching DVD's with the kids and just kicking back for a bit.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
    Sam x

  2. Wow, that is an IMPRESSIVE tree! And also an impressively uncluttered kitchen ;) Enjoy your Christmas season!

    This Good Life

  3. Kat, your tree is beautiful!! Enjoy the rest of the Christmas season!!

  4. It all looks beautiful! Merry Christmas, enjoy your time with family and friends! xo Kirsty

  5. Hi Kat:

Your tree is beautifully decorated. Your kitchen is also wonderful, is that a Benjamin Moore shade? It's beautiful!

    Enjoy your holiday!

  6. Your Christmas tree is enchanting. We use only white lights too but ours doesn't look nearly as pretty as yours.
(Dear Santa...please bring me a sink like Kat's, thank you.)

  7. Blessed, indeed!
A wonderful Christmas to you and yours, Kat!

  8. Well said! Your tree is beautiful...Emily wanted to hang red beads on it so bad but I already had the ornaments on. Next year for sure!

    Merry Christmas, Kat!

  9. lol@ me i was done also till i went out to grab a new crock pot last night.........i needed a u-haul to carry my bags home...i am sitting here waiting to hear my hubby hit the floor from yet another update on my spending habits.oh well it is 1 time a yr right???? Kat your home looks beautiful and i hope you get to relax and admire it for many days...Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

  10. You've been busy Kat and it all looks gorgeous. Have a lovely Christmas.

  11. Hi Kat,
I love your beautiful kitchen and lovely Christmas tree. I hope that you and your family have a beautiful Christmas.

  12. Have a happy, happy Christmas dear Kat. The tree is just awfully pretty-now relax.

  13. Beautiful tree, and many blessings ~

  14. Love your kitchen... wish mine were that light and bright! Enjoy the season, Kat..... hang your hat.

  15. Kat,
First of all love those little eyes peeking from your header, made me laugh!

Your tree has me longing for red now! I went with a neutral scheme this year, but there is something about red that just says Christmas!

It's so nice to see a tree from the kitchen as it makes the holiday cooking and baking a little easier I think.

  16. Beautifully decorated tree, Kat!
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  17. Your home looks comfy, cozy and inviting! I love it!

  18. Your tree is beautiful and even more impressive are your empty and clean kitchen counter tops (I've not reached that point yet). My floor "crackles" when I walk on it from peanut brittle pieces that dropped on the floor while I was pulling it into thin pieces (and I have burned fingers to show for my efforts). Have a lovely Christmas with your family and a New Year filled with peace, joy, and blessings. Mickie ;)

  19. Home is where your heart is! Me too! I wish you and your family a very merry Holiday Season Kat. Thank you for all of your insight and kind words this past year. I'm looking forward to the coming New Year!

  20. Lovely!! And so glad that you can revel in the delight of being all ready for Christmas! xo ~Lili
