Finding your place in the world, a comfy safe place where you can grow and thrive is so very important.
Finding that place, the one where you are loved, accepted, supported, and even pampered a little is what we all want and need I think. And when you are cute, you can even get away with taking up all of the available foot room underneath the desk of the hand that feeds you!
Oh- to have a dog's life on some days..when your only responsibility is to love unconditionally! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteDogs are special creatures. Willie and I both loved the video. To love and be loved by a dog. Bonnie
ReplyDeleteWhat both have said, absolutely :-)
ReplyDeleteYour Collie doing another impersonation of a seal waiting to be clubbed!
ReplyDeleteCat Stevens would not write a song like that these days, he's Moslem, and called something like Ibrahim Islam now (may have got that wrong). He used to drink in a bar in Soho, London, called the 'As You Like It', but now he has to wash his hands seven times after touching a dog of any description.
Correction - Cat Stevens, born Demetre Georgiou (Greek British), now calls himself Yusuf Islam, and - presumably - is not allowed to love dogs.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that Misty looks all grown up now! She and Quinn definitely have a hard life with your family. All that lying around and being doted upon is quite exhausting. :)
ReplyDeleteDon't we all want the comfy place in this world....how true......
ReplyDeleteHmm, re-incarceration and coming back as one of your dogs might be a good thing! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet..the good life is evident on that sweet face!
ReplyDeleteXo
I love those pictures of Misty Belle!!! She really does have a dog's life-good for her!!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! I need to have one of those relaxing days! I wonder if anyone would feed me! lol Hugs! ♥
ReplyDeleteI just love dogs! Yours look so beautiful and happy! Loved the video, especially when he was cooling himself on the marble floor...
ReplyDeleteAwww...what a comforting image that is! Misty Belle is such a little sweetie. I had never heard that Cat Stevens song before. xo ~Lili
ReplyDeleteI definitely think he has "found his place". Leading a "dog's" life doesn't look too bad! I had trouble leaving a comment the other day and I just wanted to tell you I loved the little votive candle holders that a "crafty" person had made--they were soooo pretty. Have a great weekend. Mickie ;)
ReplyDeletePoor Cat Stevens does not know what he is missing.... I HAVE to touch my dogs every day. Oh, and I smooch them too!
