Oh my goodness Kat, to actually have one of the earliest forms of photography of a relative is so cool. We have collected the daguerreotypes and ambrotypes and tins for many years, but I'm so excited to see yours is of family!! Sighing here. Great photo with your daughter in the background. I"m afraid the lighting is so dim at this time of the year that it is hard to work with (at my level of proficiency anyway).
Oh, how interesting. I've been taking photos with my phone this weekend. And hey, today I bit the bullet and bought the vacuum I've been talking about. So psyched! Brought it home and vacuumed half the house. Tomorrow it's going to get another work out.
i love old photos........i have sooo many and my mom still has tons of family pic's such great history and memories....alot pic's are marked on back when and who they are which is great cause i didn't know these people!!!
