Today was a holiday here in the US, so that meant that Mr. Tide was able to just hang out with me all day.
I love days when he has off from work and we can snuggle in bed a little longer, and get caught up on each other's hopes and dreams.
As much as I love hunting for the perfect piece of furniture, or trying to become a better photographer, it's the little things that truly make my world a beautiful place.
Give me my family, and maybe some hand and body cream in a beautiful box, and I'm one very happy woman!
By the way, I've heard from a number of you that you've had trouble leaving comments on my blog. It appears that Internet Explorer and Blogger aren't playing nicely together. So if you have Google Chrome or Firefox you can comment, otherwise it appears that you will have to wait for Internet Explorer and Blogger to kiss and make up...I hope that happens sooner rather than later!

Your posting was so true.....My family, health and the little things in life make me happy!
ReplyDeleteI love beautiful soaps and bath products! I'm always looking at them on Etsy! I'm glad you had a good day! It's nice to have a day off to spend together! ♥
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteHi Kat,
ReplyDeleteglad you've had a lovely, relaxing day. I love that make - they do the most gorgeous little robin's egg soaps and they are the prettiest things ever!
I had trouble posting on your blog yesterday - I tried to comment on the post about the family being forced apart by some bureaucratic crap but just couldn't post. Chania from Razmataz has come to the rescue tonight and told me to try Google Chrome so hopefully this will work. Great story yesterday - it really moved me. I hope the office nerds/busy bodies see sense and leave this family alone. In my day job I have to visit people in their homes and usually in very rough areas - lots of alcoholics and drug addicts and they have kid after kid by father after father and clearly don't look after their kids and this is where the government should step in but they never do. I've come home and cried after some visits. I also have friends in horrible marriages but who won't leave them because they would lose status financially - insane! Let's hope justice prevails for this loving family!

Yes, we feel the same as Joe is off today too. Another blogger informed me that bloggers from all browsers are having issues. There are no simple answers.
ReplyDeleteFinally, I can comment again! It was suggested to me about switching to Google Chrome, and things are working out much better.
ReplyDeleteI love this post, Kat.
I recently posted one similar about the small things being the big things.
Glad you had an enjoyable day.
xxoo
Kat, glad you have a lovely day with your hubby!! I had switched to Google Chrome a while ago and I'm much happier!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day! And I love Gianna Rose...
ReplyDeletePerfect day!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, snuggling. It's the best way to stay warm on chilly mornings.
ReplyDeleteThe Blogger bug only appears to affect blogs that have comments imbedded in the post itself. Those that use pop up comment boxes work the same as ever. (BTW, I switched to Firefox to leave this comment.)
Hubby had the day off, too, but still worked in his office. Frankly, we don't know what to do with each other when our weekdays collide! I usually try to look busier than I am!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
What a lovely day it must have been! We treasure those few times when it's just couple time...
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful gift... The box is a gift, in itself!! Those words are so romantic!
Best,xo
