The Fairy Hobmother, Coming to An Email Near You!!!

Sometimes wishes really do come true...just ask me!

Last week I received a lovely email from The Fairy Hobmother.  She informed me that a wish comment I had left on a post over on Kate's Blog, about wanting some camera equipment was about to come true.  The Fairy Hobmother explained that I would receive a $50 gift certificate to use at Amazon.com to purchase a much needed memory card for my camera...YAY!

The timing couldn't have been any better, with me leaving on a trip in just a week, and because I had 2 photo shoots this past weekend...one of them was a wedding, so I needed lots of room for pictures!  The photo above was taken at the wedding, along with tons of other shots, and my new memory card worked like a champ, so thank you Fairy Hobmother!!!

But like any good Fairy Godmother, or Hobmother as the case may be, I'm not the only one who can be granted a wish!  Nope, you can too!  You see, The Fairy Hobmother is quite generous, and a bit mysterious.

All you have to do is a leave a comment on THIS post, telling The Fairy Hobmother what your little heart desires.  Whatever you like, be it big or small, simple or fancy, for yourself or someone else.  Just leave a comment telling her what you would like, and then wait and see if you too receive an email from that elusive Fairy Hobmother!!  And if you do, please let me know, I would love to hear that your wish came true!  Good luck!

  2. My wish would be to buy and donate a humane trap for a woman in NY who is TNR-ing and feeding homeless cats by herself in very bad neighborhoods. I'm close to being able to buy one myself so this gift certificate could make that happen! Thank you for that chance!

  3. I think my wish would be that ChrissKat gets her wish. We had feral cats loose in our area and we finally caught them all with the help of humane traps and hopefully they found homes through the Humane Society.

  4. I think that my wish would be that Chrissykat's wish would come true. We are living in a tough economy, these are hard times. For a guardian angel to take up the plight of homeless cats, and cats in high crime neighborhoods, well, she deserves to be helped. I think all of us would like to have wishes come true, but, truly the best gift is one that makes life better for others, as well as our furry friends who can not do for themselves.

  5. Hi Kat! How exciting that the Fairy Hobmother granted your wish! Do you think she could help us sell our house?? Maybe I should be a little more realistic and ask her for an overhead projector for my art projects. I am really wanting to get back to being more creative through drawing and painting. The projector would be a great help. Thanks!
    Hugs,
    Sherry

  9. I love the Fairy Hobmother!! She's so kind, and generous, and I'm sure she's pretty, too.

Wishes? My needs are simple, and I have already been blessed with so much, but $50 toward Amazon would be great to use toward books for my rose library. Collecting roses, and reading antique and classic rose books, is a weird hobby ... but it's one that makes me really, really happy.

  10. This is very timely as I have just written a blog post about a fellow blogger, wife, mother of 2 boys who has just been diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. Here is her blog. She needs donations to help her through her treatment. My wish is a donation to Jen. (never met her and not related.

  13. How wonderful for you! I'm with Chania/Razmataz. I just found out about Jen from amistillagirl and her very very recent finding and surgery of stage 3 ovarian cancer. My sister had a scare of ovarian cancer this past May and it was so scary waiting for the results and surgery confirmation. I feel so blessed that my sister's case ended up not being cancer and would love if the Fairy Hobmother could help out her family in some way.

  15. Kat, I can't
    think of anyone
    who deserves a
    little magic more
    than you : ) After
    reading the wonderful
    requests, above,
    anything I could wish
    for seems trivial.
    I hope The F.H. will
    wave her wand over
    one of those deserving
    requests. Hope you
    are well and looking
    forward to your awesome
    trip to Germany!
    xx Suzanne

  16. Fairy Hobmother is very generous and you are one lucky gal! Your photography is very inspiring. My wish is for an international couple -a doctoral student and his wife. They are both classical musicians. We are blessed to be their American parents. Both are in their mid-30s and beyond thrilled to be expecting their first child. I want for them a crib or a good stroller and a healthy baby. It's a boy! Bless you for all you do to make others dreams come true.

  27. What a wonderful initiative of the 'Fairy Hobmother' :)

Ohhh, I wish I could spend a little cash on some specialty books on all things tea-related on Amazon so I can continue to educate myself about this wonderful beverage!

    Blessings,
    This Good Life
