So I'm finding these new watermarks are kind of obnoxious and a bit of a pain to create, but such is life I guess. Until I can figure out an even better way to protect my images, this will have to suffice I'm afraid!
I have a big favor to ask though, but it also means you'll be entered to win something. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to take a look at these images and pick your favorites. They are grouped in pairs and each one of the pairs has the same "look" to them. Some are more vintage'y, while others just have a soft romantic look to them.
I'll call these SET #1
This is the first set with a vintage look and some writing on them.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Set #2
This next set has a softer feel to them and there is less going on, but each has a stamp to give them a little interest.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Set #3
Set 3 is even more simple with no writing at all, and just a painterly quality to bring out the beauty of the flowers.
So, what do you think? Do you like set #1, #2, #3...and what do you like best, or dislike most about any of the sets?
As a thank you for taking the time to tell me which set you like the best or like the least, I will draw a winner from the comments and send him or her 5 x 7's of the set you like the best.
I will draw a name on Thursday and let the winner know on Friday. Thank you for taking the time to give me some feedback, I really appreciate it!
Of course they are all so pretty but my favorite set is #2. I love the pinker color and the writing and postmarks but they are more subtle then set#1 and not as plain as set#3.
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
So hard. All three are lovely. In order of preference, #2, #3, #1 . I really like the pinker shades. Your work is wonderful. Hugs! Bonnie
ReplyDeletehard to pick but i am leanin to set # 2
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty, but I think #2 is my fav! Sorry that I have not by for a visit, but this new business of mine is keeping me soooo busy...it's good and bad:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
I'd love any of these sets, but #1 is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI may be just a fuddy duddy, but I prefer the cleaner look of #3. Lovely, by the way!
ReplyDeleteJust getting back from vacation and checking in on a few of my favorite blogs. I like #1 the best. It just feels like I walked into an old book store, opened a book and this was stuck inside the cover.
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 feels "cool" to me but I do like the PINK in it and #3 feels a bit washed out. That is purely my opinion but then...what do I know?;>)
Maybe I should have read the other comments first~ xo Diana
My favorite right off the bat is set #2. Everything just seems to flow with that set. My eye went right to it & happiness ensued! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteI think they are all beautiful but I love the unique quality of set 1. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteThank you.

Gosh, They are all just gorgeous.... I really love all three.... but if I have to pick a favorite I will pick set number 2!

Ok. As long as you asked, I will tell you that I like them all but if you're forcing me to choose, I like Set #1. I like it because it's less pink than the other two sets, I like the vintage look to the print as well as the texture, and I do like the stamps and the handwriting which I think adds interest. And that is the name of that.

I like #1 best Kat, and the first card best of all with the stamps and the flower slightly off-centre. The pink ones are a little TOO pink - but that might just be my monitor...
ReplyDelete#1 less pink and more vintage looking
ReplyDeleteThey are all pretty, but overall I like set #2 but I like the colors in set #1 the best. What I like about #2 is the location of your name/logo. In set #1 I think the colors are "more vintage" looking. So I would combine sets 1 & 2! Hope I wasn't too confusing!
ReplyDeleteMary
Of course, they are all so beautiful. Set 2 really stands out to me. Thanks for having such a sweet giveaway!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Hi Kat, jumped over to your blog from Chronicles of a Country Girl's place. I am so inspired by your photography and editing - I think I'll be popping by again! Number 1 is my first choice, I love the vintage look to it.
ReplyDeleteThey are all great, but I love set #2, and love the 2nd image in set #1
ReplyDeleteI prefer # 1 but only because it suits my personal style not because the set is better than any others. I guess it comes down to the shade of pink we prefer judging by the rest of the comments..<3

I think I like #1 best.
ReplyDeleteBut really, they are all gorgeous!
They all are just beautiful--but I would pick set #1. They seem aged and used and loved...
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go back and read everyone's pick after I sound in. I'm leaning to #3, but I have to say each set is unique and if I saw them separately, I'd be hard put to choose. They are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNow...I'm gonna go look to see if I'm in the majority or minority.

Your designs are pretty, all of them. I'm one of those who feel watermarks take away from the image, I find them distracting. HOWEVER, I don't do this for a living. I understand the need to protect your images completely, and your artistic eye creates pretty ones.
ReplyDeleteok, first of all I love them all and not just saying that but I think that my favorite is #3. I love the last one, just something about the colors that stands out to me.
ReplyDeletexoxo
My personal favorite is the first one. There is more red/orange to it from what I can tell. I'm not really a "pink" kinda guy. Regardless of what other bloggers may tell ya. ha!
ReplyDeletem.
Kat, all the photos you posted are gorgeous! I have to say my favorite set is #2. I like the stamp on the right side, but not alot of writing. I also feel the petals are crisper. They are all just so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Kat, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

Hi Kat, They are all beautiful but my favorite is #1. I especially like the colors of that one.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sherry
I'm a bit biased so set #1 spoke to me in that way that anything French always does! But I felt a tug with Set #2 as well because those tones are just so darn pretty. But my heart belongs to #1 since you asked. xo ~Lili
ReplyDeleteAll are very nice but my personal preference is set #2. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like Set 3 for its softness.
ReplyDeleteI agree with so many others, it is hard to choose as they are all so pretty. But after staring at them for a while I would have to choose set#2. Soft and yet some detail. I like the lighter touch of stamp. The detail of the center of the bud is very pretty, and I like the pinker tones. Your work is just so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI like set 1 better than the others! They would all work and maybe you would want to mix it up a bit! Hugs! ♥
ReplyDeleteAll very pretty! My favorite is set #3 as that one makes you feel like you can lean in and catch a whiff of the roses.
ReplyDeletexo Cathy
Kat, While I do love them all, I am a bit more partial to set 2. I don't get to peek in on your blog as much as I'd like, but when I'm here I am simply transfixed on your beautiful images. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are so talented! Hugs to you and the family girlie!
ReplyDelete<3, Laura
Kat, you really are amazing with the photographs. I prefer ones without the stamp or postmark as it just doesn't seem to fit with a picture of roses. I don't mind writing, but I prefer the simplicity of #3.
