Am I the only one who can't believe how quickly January flew by?! Or who has daffodils coming up, way far up, and trees budding out? Are you like me in that you can't comment on other people's blog posts...what's up with that?! Yesterday, I was able to comment on only one other blog, the rest of the posts I tried to comment on I apparently wasn't up to snuff according to Blogger, so it rejected me. :( I hope that resolves itself quickly.
Yesterday, I was treated to lunch by a friend, and it was so nice to get away from buzzing phones and work stuff for a few hours. It was a working lunch, but the kind of working lunch where you talk about how to grow your business as well as getting caught up on house and family stuff. Plus it never hurts to have lunch with someone you like and admire for all of her success through hard work, and her great sense of style, so it was a fun afternoon...Thanks M for the nice lunch!
Today it is back to the grindstone with more phone calls to be made and more emails to be sent and answered. It's a new month, and my hope is that it will be a productive month, but one that won't be gone in the blink of an eye.
So what's been happening in your world? Oh, and I LOVED reading your comments about sewing on one of my recent posts. It was so fun to see who was adept at the art of sewing and those who were like me and couldn't sew a lick!
It's ironic that you are hoping that the shortest month of the year doesn't fly by!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling productive...have a great week!
XO,
Jane
I've been having a tough time with commenting, too. I thought it was an internet explorer problem, but I was having a rough time with mozilla, too. Hopefully blogger gets it all smoothed out.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to be able to stop and have lunch with a friend. It's the perfect recharge. Thanks for sharing.
I can't believe that it is February already either! It's funny but my post yesterday/today is about sewing, too. I am back sewing after a long hiatus! Hope you have a wonderful day and that Blogger recognizes you today! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteFunny...I was just wondering where January went in such a hurry.
ReplyDeleteIt's like I don't want to go to bed...I might miss something.
Blogger has been kind of a pain lately.
Enjoy the rest of your week, Dearie.
xxoo
Your header looks so pretty, Kat! I've heard lots of people saying they are having problems with blogger...mine was with my blog roll. We only have about an inch of snow on the ground and have had very little winter!
ReplyDeleteOh I agree, January just flew by, even down in this hemisphere. It was the last 4 weeks of our school holidays so it's par for the course that time flies when you're having fun. I'm loving your header too. A-M xx
ReplyDeleteFebruary has certainly slipped up on us hasn't it. Yes, I have daffodils coming up and ready to bloom. Hugs! Bonnie
ReplyDeleteI have been incredibly challenged this week blogging and otherwise but the warm temps had me outside and that makes me happy. I have a backache but it is so good to be out making the flower garden presentable.
ReplyDeleteVery informative post. Thanks for taking the time to share your view with us. floor plans
ReplyDeleteTime really does fly by...sometimes I feel overwhelmed! I have so much I want to do and not enough hours in the day! Enjoy the rest of your week! ♥
ReplyDeleteYes Kat, what's up with January just flying by like that! It looks like you're off to a productive new start with your pretty new header to welcome February. I'm playing catch up as usual and now off to read what you had to say in your sewing post. xo ~Lili
ReplyDeleteHubby took the dogs outside tonite, came back inside and said there is a daisy blooming out front... "You mean a daffodil", I asked. Hee hee.
ReplyDeleteI just know folks think I'm ignoring their posts. Sometimes Blogger will let me comment and sometimes not. Same way with viewing posts...sometimes I can see them and sometimes it's a half a page that won't scroll...grrr!
ReplyDeleteI've got daffodils poking their sweet leaves up...can't wait to see their faces.
Deb
Yes....where did January go? I can't believe it either. We have had a ridiculously mild weather pattern here. I'll take it.
ReplyDeleteOh, geez. And I thought January took forever to get through ~
