Sorry I've been gone for the past few days...yesterday I spent the day preparing for a garden club meeting I was hosting. I belong to a small garden club with wonderful members who know way more about gardening then I could ever hope to! Two of the ladies in the group are in their 90s and they still come to nearly every meeting and are so delightful to talk to. Everyone in the club is great, and I am so glad my sister "M" invited me to join last year!
So after the meeting I was all set to finish up my giveaway post when the lights went out! Yup, a thunderstorm had apparently caused a transformer down the road from us to let go and so we ended the evening with an early "lights out"! And when I woke up this morning there was no internet, which is kind of like having my right arm cut off...I NEED my internet!
Ok, so now that the internet is back it's time I got to the good stuff...my latest giveaway! I can't believe I'm almost at the 400 Follower mark, WOW is all I can say, and thank you all so much! So in honor of that number I'm hosting another great giveaway!
Each time I've featured pictures of my house I always get emails and comments asking about the cute area rugs I have in my kitchen. I've had my rugs for over 2 years now and they've held up like iron, and they still make me smile every time I walk into my kitchen. They are bright, cheerful, and they have dogs on them, so what's not to love right?!
Recently I contacted the company,
Jellybean Rugs, who makes them and asked if I could feature some of their rugs on my blog. Not only did they say yes but they also offered to send me not one but two of their rugs to use for a giveaway!

How long has Home Comfort Jellybean Rugs been in business and how did the company get its start?
We've been in business since 1998 with the introduction of Jellybean Rugs.
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
We get our inspiration from the fashion trends we see in the gift and home décor markets, and we rely on 30 top name artists and designers that we license from.
Can you tell me a little bit about the production process for these rugs and what goes in to making each rug?
Every Jellybean rug is hand-made, hand embroidered, and there are over 2 hours of labor in each rug.
You have a wonderful line of dog rugs, some of them featuring 2 black labs named Ralphie and LuLu, do Ralphie and LuLu really exist, and are they beloved pets of someone at Home Comfort Jellybean Rugs? And will the company continue to expand your dog rug line in the future by offering rugs with other breeds?
Ralphie & LuLu is actually the name of a local watering hole. And yes, we will be expanding our pet line next year!

What other exciting new designs do you have in the works?
We will be introducing many new Fall/Harvest and Holiday rugs this summer and many, many new designs next January!

What are some of your best selling rug designs, and do you have a personal favorite?
Our #1 selling rug is Kitties In The Window, followed closely by the two Ladybug rugs. My favorite is Ralphie & LuLu, as I have 2 labs myself!
I have had my rugs for over 2 years and they still look wonderful, do you get lots of similar feedback from your customers about the durability and quality of your products?
Yes, we get wonderful feedback all the time from our customers about the quality and durability of our rugs, and they really do “..wash better than your jeans!"
I truly am a fan, or as Rusty likes to call it a
"Jellybean addict," and I have been ever since my in-laws gave me a gift certificate to
Orvis, where I purchased my first Jellybean Rugs!
Along with the two rugs Rusty sent me for my giveaway, the great folks at
Jellybean Rugs also gave me this very cool blue crab and lemons rug to keep for myself!! I love how it looks in my family room, and since I'm a Marylander, the blue crab motif is perfect!!
The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes in to making each Jellybean Rug is really amazing! And the fact that my rugs are over two years old and they still look brand new has made me a Jellybean lover for life! Plus there are so many great designs to choose from, it's easy to see how people can become addicted to these fun, colorful rugs!
