Flitting around our backyard for days now have been these sweet creatures.
Looking for the perfect grub to dine on.
They always make me smile!

They are so lovely! We have bluebird houses up, but it's been years since I've seen one here...too populated now...
ReplyDeleteWonderful captures of one of my favorite birds! Makes me glad to see them.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! We don't see
ReplyDeletebluebirds around here ~ they
must prefer warmer climes....
Beautiful shots!

How pretty they are - so plump and fluffy. We get only Stellar's Jays out here and no one would call them plump or fluffy - they are rather beaky with a terrible screech.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty!

Beautiful/ I love birds in the winter-- the little ray of hope that spring is coming. I look forward to that :)
ReplyDeleteI always love your bird photos!
ReplyDeleteThey are just gorgeous. I enjoy watching them in my backyard, usually in February it seems.
ReplyDeleteYou take such amazing bird photos Kat. The little blue birds are pretty rare up here, but you seem to get them every year. Last summer I thought of you when I was out walking at a nearby park and came across some bird photographers playing the blue bird's song and had attracted several blue birds to the area. They were flitting about and the photographers were taking photos of them with enormous lenses on their cameras. It was the first time I had seen blue birds so was thrilled to have done so.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! You definitely have a talent. :) Jane
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful captures Kat! Did you know, I had never seen a bluebird before this past summer. And it is our state bird. Come to find out, I had seen many, many females, but never knew that's what they were. (I know nil about birds) Last fall as Dale and I were coming back from one of our mountain properties, there were groups of about fifty bluebirds all along the fencelines. It was a gorgeous site. I couldn't believe my luck to see that many males with the blues shining in the sunlight.
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with you and that you have a wonderful week.
sending hugs...
Lovely birds, gorgeous photos! It's amazing how you captured them.
