Monday, Monday

Thanks for all of the hydrangea love from my last post, they really are beautiful flowers aren't they?!

This week will be a busy one for both Mr. Tide and myself.  He is winging his way to Savannah for work (can you say jealous?!) and I will be chained to my desk.  It rained most of today, but this afternoon the clouds cleared and gorgeous light filled our dining room and living room so I grabbed the camera and took a shot.  There is something so beautiful about late afternoon sunlight following a rainstorm.

I hope you each have a wonderful week!

  1. We had rain all morning, it was a pretty rain though. :-)

  2. Now don't be mad at me...I'm heading to Savannah next week:)

  3. what a fabulous room, Love your amazing chandy!

  4. Hi Kat, I hope you are doing well. Your dining room is beautiful!

  5. I love Savannah! It's been awhile since we've been there and I always thought we would go back. Someday. I love your dining room, that white cabinet is so pretty! I would have a lot of fun with that!

After a rainy weekend we had sun today. Sadly, I spent most of the day at the grocery store and then cleaning out my fridge and cabinets to make room for everything. But...Mondays are like that! Have a great week, Kat!

  6. I love your home. Hoping your week is a good one, too my friend.

  7. Hi Kat, I would be transplanting some of that hydrangea plant to my house. Your dining room is wonderful. Please send me some rain. I am watering again like crazy. Olive

  8. Dear Kat ~ This is the first time I've seen your dining room. And what a wonderful first impression! Fabulous :) Love the china cabinet. Is it painted?

  9. I really really need a large cabinet like yours to fill with all my ironstone as it grows. Sigh.

  10. Wow, this is a wonderful space, Kat! I love everything about it!

  11. I think it's the TIDY space & clean lines of your dining room myself Kat....Wanna swap....**wink**....!!

  12. Oh my gosh Kat I'm so happy to see a photo of your gorgeous new cabinet that you teased us with way back in another post! I absolutely love this look...everything about it is so magazine worthy. And oh! I just noticed your white pumpkin display right there on the table too. Lots of ooohs and ahhhs and big sighs from me right now! xo ~Lili

  13. Beautiful!!! Love the chairs;
are they a new addition? I
hope you won't be too lonely
    without your man. YOU should
    have gone along.....I love
    Savannah. Wish my girl had
    fallen in love with SCAD!

    xo Suzanne

  14. Lovely picture! I believe I could have found some necessary reason to go to Savannah, too.:)

  15. Love your dining room with all the changes. Did I miss a big reveal with before-and-after photos? I need to go back and look at what your dining room used to look like, but I do recall it was much more formal. Love the change - looks like the perfect blend of traditional and relaxed.
