No Way

There is no way it's been almost a week since I last posted?!

There is no way it's already August the 1st!!!

There is no way that I haven't returned a single email in DAYS...not one!

And there is no way I can get up every morning and not go outside to check on these sweet morning glories that fill my fence...love them!

I've been under the weather with some sort of cough, most likely allergy related since I only hack when I've been outside, but it's been kicking my behind.  Then Mr. Tide launched off to far flung places for work this weekend with less than 24 hours notice...hate that about his job!  So there is no way I'll be doing anything except the necessary cleaning, cooking, dog and work stuff for the foreseeable future.

I hope there is no way you are having anything but a perfect day!

  2. It certainly doesn't feel like August - it sounds as if your impulse is to contemplate and withdraw right now, as if autumn has already come. Dear Kat, have a very personal week!

  5. This week will be quiet. I'm thankful.

It's a good thing that you love your Morning Glories, because you will have probably have volunteer seedlings for years and years to come ... I love them, too. The white ones are my favorites. You probably already knew that. :)

It started out as a tickle and is now full blown.
    It is driving me crazy!

    Get well,

  8. I've been coughing since I had the cold/flu in June...but only at night. I think it is lack of fresh air for me, it is never cool enough to go outside! I'm not posting as much this summer either...I just don't have anything creative floating around in my head right now...I hope it comes back sooner than later. Feel better soon! The pictures are gorgeous!

  9. I hope your cough gets better soon, Kat. I say to myself - 'no way I haven't posted a blog for 8 hours!'. Nice photos too. Here in the UK, the sale of Morning Glory was banned during the 60s and 70s because eating the seeds gave you the same trip as LSD - or something similar, but much more dangerous! What did they do? Change the name from Morning Glory to something else, but the drug-freaks soon caught on to it.

  13. Well,Plants are so good for the air quality in your home. I also planted bonsai and flower pots at my home. I have always struggled a bit trying to display them and fit them into the decor.

  19. We all have those days.

LOVE your photos. The morning glories look like velvet. It would be wonderful if you shared them on Seasonal Sundays - maybe after your break.

  20. Just this year I started some morning glories from seed and they are almost getting ready to bloom for me...I don't even remember what color they were come to think of it. Love that white one, hope I have a white one! Hope Mr. Tide won't have to be gone that long and your cough disappears as quickly as it started. xo ~Lili
