Violets

Violets and sunshine, is there anything better?

Ok, maybe violets, sunshine and chocolate might be better.

Or violets, sunshine, chocolate and the ocean...that would be nice.

Of course I wouldn't be opposed to the prospect of violets, sunshine, chocolate, the ocean, and no bills.

So, I think we can all agree that having a bouquet of violets sitting on our porch overlooking the ocean, while basking in the sunshine with a bowl full of yummy chocolate, with not a care in the world, including bills, would be pretty hard to beat!

Well, at least I have the violets! :-)

We are supposed to get the violent storms that caused so much devastation in the south yesterday, so I am hunkered down and writing.  I hope none of you were affected by these same storms, and my heart goes out to those who were.

Enjoy your weekend, and I'm so glad you liked the little store tour from my last post.  I will be firming up the plans for the Spread the Love Meme party and posting about it very soon...I'm excited about it and hope you will be too!

  4. I love the bunny vase! And yes, I do have fantasies like this!

Our weather is rainy and cold. I have been reading about the storms in the South on Yahoo News and my heart goes out to those in the path of these twisters. I hope the sun comes out in a few days.

  5. When I looked at the tiny little thumbnail in the google follow list, I thought, "Why are her violets coming up through styrofoam packing peanuts???" Then I clicked on over and saw that the packing peanut was actually a tiny violet vase!

  6. Your violets are gorgeous, girl! I love the little vase and the wire thing. We're hunkering down here, as well. Hoping the garden isn't affected too much. It would break my husband's heart if it were.

  7. Sunshine, violets, chocolate and the ocean would be ideal, but right now I would settle for just sunshine! The cold dark spring continues here in New England! Your pictures do cheer me though and I hope you will not have the extreme weather. Linda

  13. Have you read the Katherine Mansfield story of violets? It would be a help if I could remember the name of it of course...
